"I literally hated the way I looked."

I never wanted anyone to see how unhappy I was with the way I looked - I'd put on a front, but I genuinely felt like crap.

"I was a heavy drinker and my portion sizes were huge."

My life was a mess before Team RH. I was a heavy drinker and a big eater - my portion sizes were absolutely massive. I'd easily get through a full packet of biscuits in one sitting.

I was just eating for the sake of it and would avoid any form of physical activity.

"I tried other diets but they would never keep my weight off."

Something had to change about my lifestyle, I just felt like crap.

It really hit me when my youngest son was going through treatment for cancer. I knew that I couldn't continue the way I was for my own health, and his. I had to make a change.

I tried other diet groups but I'd lose a bit of weight and then instantly pile it back on again.

I took the plunge and joined Team RH in 2018, after watching Richie's videos on Facebook.

I always hit 15k steps and either go to the gym or kick box six times a week, to build muscle.
