The Best Chocolate Protein Brownies - Team RH

_Chocolate Brownies-05.png

An amazing way to get your protein in for the day! Made to share (but you won't want to). This recipe is super quick to prepare, serve and EAT.

Serves 9

Recipe:

  • 90g Team RH Fat Cow Chocolate Protein
  • 25g Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 40g of sugar
  • 4g Baking Powder
  • 2g of Salt
  • 60g Canned Pumpkin
  • 60g of brown sugar
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 4g of Vanilla Extract
  • 25g of Chocolate Chips

Method

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Mix together all of the liquid ingredients in a bowl. We recommend using a hand mixer (unless you have a super fancy machine to do it for you!)
  3. In a separate bowl, mix your dry ingredients.
  4. Once both are mixed, combine both bowls and mix everything together - don't be alarmed if the batter seems runny, this is what you want.
  5. Get a baking dish (ideally 8x8) and spray with a low calorie spray, then line with baking paper.
  6. Pour your batter into the tray/dish.
  7. Put the tray in the oven for around 30 minutes. We recommend to keep checking on them in the meantime, to make sure you are happy with the consistency.
  8. Take the tray out of the oven and let it cool for around 15-20 minutes.
  9. Cut up your brownies and get stuck in!

This recipe is easy to make with the kids and even easier to eat!

Why should I make protein brownies?

If you want the honest answer, we know everyone craves something sweet - it's human! We wanted to introduce a recipe that included protein so that our members can enjoy something sweet, whilst still contributing to their overall protein goal. By making these brownies, you can enjoy a super-chocolatey snack AND work towards your protein goal... what more could you want?

If chocolate isn't your flavour then why not try Strawberry, Vanilla, Banana or the brand new Vegan Millionaire Shortbread flavour.
